Variety Trio of Burgers Recipe

We decided to add a fun spin to the classic hamburger with this recipe. Our Trio of Burgers celebrates the culinary influences of Asia, Texas and the Mediterranean.  Happy Grilling!

Thai Turkey Burger
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 3 tablespoons Sriracha Chilli Seasoning, link available May 21
  • 2 tablespoons Wok Oil
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Cucumber Carrot Relish
  • 1 cucumber, julienned or grated
  • 1 carrot, julienned or grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • lettuce for serving
Texas Bacon Cheese Burger
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons Chardonnay Jalapeño Grapeseed Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Texan Rub
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 slices cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon
  • tomato, pickle, onion, lettuce for serving
Mediterranean Lamb Burger
  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon Olive Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Mediterranean Rub
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Feta cheese, tomato, lettuce, Aegean Tapenade for serving
For each version, combine all ingredients except toppings and shape into 3 patties.
  1. Heat grill to medium high.
  2. Place burgers on grill surface and cook beef and lamb to desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare, 5 minutes per side for medium and 6 minutes per side for well done.
  3. Cook the turkey burgers 5 minutes per side until the internal temperature is 165 degrees F.
  4. Remove from grill and serve on toasted buns with toppings.
Cucumber Carrot Relish
  1. Combine cucumber, carrot, rice wine vinegar, lime juice and sugar. Serve on Thai Turkey Burger
