Shrimp Arrabbiata Pasta Recipe

Arrabbiata is a spicy Italian pasta sauce made with garlic, tomatoes, chili peppers and olive oil. Adding shrimp makes this recipe a wonderful seafood dish that isn't a hassle to whip up!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound 31 - 40 count shrimp, raw, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup warm water, divided
  • ¼ cup Bruschetta Originale
  • ¼ cup Chilli Pepper Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup Arrabbiata Herb Mix
  • ¼ cup dry white wine or broth
  • 1 (250 g) package Pasta di Puglia
  • Parmesan for serving
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, prepare the Bruschetta Originale by mixing with ½ cup warm water and allowing to sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare Pasta de Puglia according to package.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large sauce pan heat Chilli Pepper Olive Oil until shimmering. AddArrabbiata Herb Mix and saute for 5 minutes. Add the remaining ½ cup warm water and ¼ cup wine of broth simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Add rehydrated Bruschetta Originale and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp and cook until slightly opaque and have curled into the letter “C” shape.
  6. Add cooked Pasta de Puglia stirring to coat with sauce and distribute shrimp.
  7. Transfer to warm serving platter.
  8. Serve with grated Parmesan and garnish with chopped parsley.

The title of this recipe says it all! A delicious and very quick ( 15 minutes to be exact! ) marinara pasta dish that the whole family can enjoy.

Ingredients:
  • 1 (11.64 ounces) bottle Salsa della Mamma tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup warm water
  • 4 tablespoons Bruschetta Formaggio
  • 4 tablespoons chopped Sunpomo Sundried Tomatoes
  • 1 (11.46) package Tagliatelle all’Uovo pasta
  • Parmesan Cheese for serving
Instructions
  1. Place Bruschetta Formaggio tomato herb mix in a small bowl, cover with warm water and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine Salsa della Mamma, Sunpomo Tomatoes and Bruschetta mixture. Heat through.
  3. Prepare pasta according to package directions.
  4. Serve marinara sauce over pasta with a fresh grating of Parmesan.

Sicilian Pesto di Pistacchio Pasta Recipe

This pasta dish is insanely flavorful and is ready to serve in only 30 minutes. Add another dimension to your pasta by adding a garnish of breadcrumbs, pistachios and parsley. Cheers!

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces homemade, or dry pasta
  • ¼ cup of Bonsecco Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup chopped pistachio nuts
  • 1 Jar Pesto di Pistacchio
  • 1 Jar Artichoke alla Contadina
  • 1 Jar Sunpomo Sundried Tomatoes
  • 2 red chilies sliced
  • 1 large clove of garlic sliced
  • ½ small red onion sliced
  • ¼ cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • chopped Parsley
Instructions
  1. Heat Bonsecco Olive Oi in large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add onion, chilies and garlic, sauté until translucent approximately 5 minutes.
  3. Add drained Sunpomo Sundried Tomatoes and Artichoke alla Contandina. Reserve oil for later use.
  4. Add 2 – 3 tablespoons of Pesto di Pistacchio, stir to combine.
  5. Add 8 ounces of pasta to pan and toss together.
  6. Transfer pasta to a serving platter.
  7. Wipe skillet clean. Return to stove and heat over medium heat. Add in your bread crumbs, pistachio nuts and parsley. Stir until browned.
  8. Top your pasta with breadcrumbs and pistachio nuts.
  9. Serve and enjoy.

Italian Crostini with Tomato & Olives Recipe

Toasted, crispy baguettes make for the perfect basis of this traditional Italian Crostini recipe. Paired with tomatoes and olives- this appetizer is sure to be a crowd pleaser ( and is vegetarian friendly )!

Ingredients:
  • 4 slices baguette
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil with Garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • 8 Aceitunas Rellenas con Ajos (olives stuffed with garlic)
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat a grill pan to high heat. Drizzle baguette slices with 1 tablespoon oil. Place on grill and cook oil side down until grill lines are visible. Cut the tomato in half and rub cut side over grilled baguettes.
  2. Remove seeds from tomato halves and cut into small dice. Season with salt and pepper. Spread over baguettes.
  3. Heat the Bake & Fry Olive oil to 350˚F. Whisk the egg white until frothy. Add olives to coat.
  4. Combine the breadcrumbs and flour in a shallow bowl. Transfer the egg-dipped olives to the breadcrumb mixture and coat evenly.
  5. Fry olives in batches until they have a nice brown, crispy layer, approximately 45 seconds, cut in half and arrange on top of diced tomatoes.
